Chinos, esta noche nos veremos en Corralejo. Espero que se animen, creo que el plan es ir a picar algo y luego ir al Rock Island bar donde esta noche actúa mi amigo.

Intermedio 2 students!!!

I'm writing this while you are taking your final writing exam. You are all so quiet and concentrated!!! You even look cute ;)

Jokes apart, it makes me proud seeing that all of you have taken the exams. Some of you will have finished your final exams by this afternoon, some of you will finish next Tuesday, but most definetely, all of you will be here next Thursday!!!

So by now, have a nice weekend!! (you know what you have to do whether it is relax a little bit or studying a little bit)

You can already check (and you MUST DO IT) that your names are included in the list of students taking the certification exam next June 4th.

You can check it on this link or on the EOI Fuerteventura webpage.

TIP: Download the PDF document and then search for your name, it will be quicker that trying to look it up online.

On the other hand, we have already done half of our May's exam!!! Hooray!!!!!

Remember next Thursday we have the writing exam and we will start with the speaking exams as well (they will be finished on the following Tuesday).

CERTIFICACIÓN INTERMEDIO 2

Como ya saben, este año tienen sus exámenes para obtener el certificado de nivel Intermedio. Hasta el momento ya les hemos facilitado la información relativa a todo el proceso. 

El pasado martes entregamos en clase un dossier con toda la información al respecto, centrada en nuestro alumnado de la EOI Puerto del Rosario. Nuevamente, quiero recordarles que no tienen que abonar ningún tipo de tasas para examinarse, pero es IMPRESCINDIBLE que rellenen y entreguen un formulario (tal como se decía en el dossier de información de CRITERIOS DE EVALUACIÓN que se les entregó a principio de curso).

Sin entregar ese formulario NO se pueden presentar a Certificación. El último día para entregarlo es el 30 de abril, los alumnos que asistieron a clase la semana pasada, ya lo han rellenado y me lo han entregado. El formulario está a su disposición en secretaría, dónde pueden rellenarlo y entregarlo.

Phrasal Verbs

So as you know we have already been  working on phrasal verbs in class. Last Tuesday we made a list with a few of them (see end of this post)

The idea is that everybody should bring at least 5 more (with examples). That way we can have a list (not to learn by heart) to use as a reference tool already prepared with examples of use.

Check the list and do not use any of the ones already there!

Movie on 26th March

As you know, the Escuela is hosting a cinema day at Cines Odeón en Puerto del Rosario. This time we are watching August: Osage County. There will be three sessions, 9:00, 16:30 and 19:00. ALL STUDENTS are invited to come. Below is the trailer of the movie, watch it and come and join us in this movie day!

Como saben, la Escuela ha organizado unas sesiones de cine en versión original, con subtítulos en español, en los Cines Odeón en Puerto del Rosario. Esta vez la película es "August: Osage County". Habrá tres sesiones, 9:00, 16:30 y 19:00. TODOS LOS ESTUDIANTES están invitados a asistir. Debajo tienen el trailer de la película, veánlo y ¡anímense a venir al cine a verla en pantalla grande!
